Following our agreement with DIMA TRADE SERVICES S.A, we are the exclusive agents for the following global leaders in the cement industry and also serve as their representative in select West and East African markets.

Refratechnik Cement GmbH of Germany is the global market leader for the cement industry. Their advanced products as well as service and processing expertise are applied worldwide in all high-temperature industrial processes in the cement, lime, ceramics, iron & steel, aluminium, and non-ferrous metals industries. They are leading producers of shaped (bricks) and unshaped (castables) refractory products for industrial use. We represent Refratechnik in Nigeria.

Brokk AB of Sweden is the world-leading manufacturer of remote controlled demolishing robots which can save a minimum of 8085% of a kiln’s downtime when compared to the manual demolishing of coating and used bricks. They continue to improve and develop their machine models for use in tough environments. We represent Brokk in the West African and ECOWAS regions.

Bricking Solutions of the USA, a subsidiary of Brokk AB, specialises in custom building of rotary kiln bridges, kiln access ramps, safety cages, kiln conveyor systems, E-Z lift platforms. They also build the most efficient bricking machine in the global market, proven to be at least 30% more efficient than any other machine on the market today. They continue to maintain their tradition of using the highest quality craftsmanship and custom design with high strength aircraft aluminium material. We represent Bricking Solutions in the West African and ECOWAS regions as well as some East African countries.

Our history

Registered on the 5th of September 1985 with RC number 76298, Aquarius United Services Limited was initially involved in the import and wholesale distribution of food stuffs, commodities, and consumer products as well as specialised materials such as coated duplex boards for the packaging industry.

In 1993, our Managing Director, Mr. Victor Khouri, who had been living in Nigeria since 1967 and had previous senior management experience with a company specializing in the import and marketing of cement and other building materials, decided that we should concentrate on supplying goods and services to the cement industry.

Consequently, all trading activities were suspended and we took over the marketing of the various products and services from Dima Trade Services S.A., the offshore company which holds the agencies for various international manufacturers, which soon resulted in our becoming the sole representatives in West Africa and selected East African markets for Refratechnik Cement GmbH, Germany (Nigeria only); Brokk AB, Sweden (West African markets only); Bricking Solutions, USA (West Africa and select East African markets).

Since then, moving from strength to strength and based on our clients’ feedback, we have diversified our operations to include the production of filter bags, cages and venturies, as well as the sales and after sales services with respect to various filtration media for all industries.
